In Numbers 26:35-36 of the Bible, it is stated that the descendants of Ephraim were as follows: The son of Ephraim was Shuthelah, whose son was Beker, and his son was Tahan. Tahan’s son was Ladan, whose sons were Ammihud and Elishama. The clan of Shuthelah’s descendants was called the Shuthelah clan.
The descendants of Beker were Zuthan, and his son was Eran. Eran’s sons were Eran, Ladan, and Abidan. The descendants of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. Amram’s wife was Jochebed, who was also his father’s sister, and she gave birth to Aaron and Moses. Aaron and Moses were anointed and consecrated as priests by the Lord to serve Him as leaders of the Israelites.
