The Tower, also known as the 16th card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot deck, is often depicted as a tall tower on a rocky cliff being struck by lightning. This card symbolizes sudden change, upheaval, and destruction. It represents a sudden and dramatic shift in circumstances that can be unsettling but ultimately leads to growth and transformation.

The Tower card serves as a wake-up call, signaling that the foundations on which we have built our lives are not as secure as we thought. It is a reminder that sometimes we need to let go of old beliefs, structures, or ways of being in order to make way for new growth and opportunities. It can be a challenging card to receive, as it often indicates situations that are beyond our control and require us to surrender to the changes happening around us.

While the Tower may bring chaos and disruption, it is also a card of liberation and freedom. It encourages us to embrace change and to let go of what no longer serves us. By facing our fears and embracing the upheaval, we can emerge stronger and more resilient on the other side.
