Olympus is a revered ancient Greek mountain, considered to be the home of the gods in Greek mythology. Situated in northern Greece, it reaches an impressive height of 2,917 meters (9,570 feet) making it the highest mountain in Greece. The peak of Olympus is called Mytikas, and it is shrouded in mythology and legend as it is believed to be the throne of Zeus, the king of the Greek gods.

The mountain is not only culturally significant but also boasts stunning natural beauty, with diverse flora and fauna, lush forests, and breathtaking views. The Olympus National Park, established in 1938, covers an area of 238,733 acres and is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, and nature enthusiasts. The trails in the park lead visitors through picturesque landscapes, past ancient ruins, and to the summit where one can see panoramic views of the surrounding areas.
