In Romans 1:16-17, the Apostle Paul boldly declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.'”

These verses serve as a powerful reminder for Christians to stand firm in their faith and boldly proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Paul emphasizes that the gospel is not just a message but the very power of God at work in the lives of believers. It is through faith in Jesus that we are made right with God, not through our own good works or merit. This righteousness is available to everyone, regardless of their background or past sins.

As we reflect on these verses, let us be inspired to share the gospel with confidence and live out our faith in a way that glorifies God. Let us remember that it is by faith that we are saved and that we are called to live lives that reflect this truth, trusting in God’s righteousness and power to transform us from the inside out.
