Not all things are equally funny

Humor is subjective, and what one person finds funny, another may not. Some things are universally seen as funny, such as puns, slapstick comedy, and funny animal videos. These types of humor tend to evoke laughter because they play off common experiences or deal with situations that are relatable to a wide audience.

However, humor can also be more nuanced and specific to certain individuals or cultural groups. For example, inside jokes among friends or a particular brand of sarcasm may not be funny to everyone, but can be incredibly hilarious to those who understand the context.

Timing is also crucial when it comes to humor. A well-timed joke or witty remark can have people laughing for days, while a poorly timed one can fall flat and even offend. In essence, some things are funnier than others because humor is a complex mix of personal preferences, cultural influences, and timing.
