Marcel winced as he ran his fingers over the deep scratch on his arm. He couldn’t remember how he got it, but it stung nonetheless. It was a physical reminder of the chaotic night before, a night filled with too many drinks and hazy memories.

He sat on his bed, trying to piece together the events that led to his current state. Flashes of laughter, loud music, and blurry faces danced in his mind, but nothing concrete emerged. All he knew was that he woke up feeling disoriented and sore, with a pounding headache to match.

As he reflected on his actions, Marcel couldn’t help but feel a mix of guilt and regret. He knew he had overindulged, pushing his limits beyond what was responsible. It wasn’t the first time he had found himself in this state, and he vowed it would be the last.

Marcel made a promise to himself to take better care of his body and mind, to learn from his mistakes and strive to make healthier choices. The scratch on his arm served as a physical reminder of his pledge to do better, to be better.
