Likely Final Sight

As you lay in bed, surrounded by the comfort of your pillows and blankets, you can’t help but think about how this might be the last thing you ever see. The thought creeps in slowly, like a shadow creeping up on you in the darkness. It’s a chilling reminder of your mortality, a reminder that one day, your eyes will close for the last time, and you will never open them again.

You try to push the thought away, to focus on the present moment and enjoy the warmth and safety of your bed. But the idea lingers, haunting you like a ghost. You think about all the things you still want to see and experience, all the sights and colors and faces that you cherish. Will you have the chance to see them all before it’s too late?

You close your eyes, trying to shut out the fear and uncertainty. You take a deep breath, reminding yourself to live in the moment and appreciate the beauty around you. But deep down, you can’t shake the feeling that this may be the last thing you see before you drift off to sleep.
