It was already 5pm, which meant it must be Fern’s shift. She quickly checked her watch and sighed, realizing she was running late. Grabbing her bag and keys, she rushed out the door, hoping she would make it to work on time.

As she drove through the busy streets, Fern couldn’t shake the feeling of anxiety that was gnawing at her. She hated being late, especially for her job as a nurse at the hospital. The thought of letting her team down made her stomach churn.

Finally, she arrived at the hospital and parked her car in the staff lot. Fern hurried inside, scanning her ID badge to clock in. She took a deep breath and entered the bustling ward, ready to begin her shift.

Despite the rush, Fern knew she had a job to do. Patients were counting on her and she wouldn’t let them down. With a determined mindset, Fern plunged into her duties, ready to provide the best care possible for those in need.
