Keith Whitley was a talented country music singer who left a lasting impact on the genre before his tragic death at the age of 34. Born in Kentucky in 1955, Whitley began his music career in the 1970s as part of the band J.D. Crowe & the New South. He later joined the group The Seldom Scene before pursuing a solo career.

Whitley is perhaps best known for his hit songs such as “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” “When You Say Nothing at All,” and “I’m No Stranger to the Rain.” His soulful voice and emotional delivery resonated with audiences and earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
