In Genesis 18:3-5 in the King James Version of the Bible, we are presented with the story of Abraham and his encounter with three visitors who come to his tent. As Abraham sees the visitors approaching, he runs to meet them and bows down to the ground in respect. He then offers them hospitality, asking them to stay and rest while he tends to their needs.

Abraham instructs his servants to prepare a meal for his guests, including bread, milk, and a choice calf for meat. He personally serves the visitors by standing nearby as they eat, ensuring they are comfortable and well-fed. This act of hospitality and generosity towards strangers exemplifies Abraham’s compassion and kindness, and highlights the importance of showing care and respect to all individuals, regardless of their status or background.

This passage serves as a reminder for us all to practice hospitality and kindness towards others, even strangers, as we never know when we may be entertaining angels without even realizing it. It teaches us to be open-hearted and generous, sharing our blessings with those around us in a spirit of love and unity.
