In Genesis 21:11-12 in the King James Version of the Bible, the Lord speaks to Abraham concerning his wife Sarah and their son Isaac. In verse 11, the Lord tells Abraham not to be troubled by Sarah’s demand to send away Hagar and Ishmael, as it is through Isaac that his descendants will be called.
