“And the Lord said to Moses, “I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name.” Moses responded, “Then show me your glorious presence.”
In these verses, we see Moses pleading with God to show him His glorious presence. The relationship between Moses and God is one of intimacy and trust, as God knows him by name and favors him. Moses’s request reveals a deep desire to see and experience God’s glory in a profound way.
As believers, we can learn from Moses’s example by seeking a deeper encounter with God. When we earnestly seek God’s presence and desire to experience His glory, we open ourselves up to a transformative and powerful encounter with the Almighty. Just like Moses, we are invited to come before God with boldness and expectation, knowing that He sees us, knows us, and desires to reveal Himself to us in ways that will change our lives forever.”
