In Genesis 2:10-12 of the King James Version Bible, it describes the rivers that flowed out of the Garden of Eden. A river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it was divided into four rivers. The first river was named Pison, which encompassed the land of Havilah where there was gold. The gold of that land was good and there were also precious stones. The second river was called Gihon, which flowed around the whole land of Ethiopia. The third river was named Hiddekel, which flowed toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river was Euphrates. These rivers provided water to nourish the Garden of Eden and its surroundings, showcasing the abundance and beauty of God’s creation. This passage highlights the richness and fertility of the land and emphasizes the bountiful blessings that God has provided for mankind.
