Forgot Winter Accessories

As I stepped outside into the wintry air, I realized with a sinking feeling that I had forgotten my hat, gloves, and scarf. The cold immediately bit at my exposed skin, sending shivers down my spine. I cursed myself for being so absent-minded, knowing that I would now have to endure the harsh weather without the proper protection.

I tried to tuck my hands into the sleeves of my coat and pull my collar up around my neck, but it was no match for the biting wind. My fingers quickly grew numb, and my ears stung with the cold. I was filled with regret for not double-checking before leaving the warmth of my home.

As I trudged along, I couldn’t help but feel exposed and vulnerable without my winter accessories. The snow seemed to fall heavier, and the wind seemed to cut through me with each gust. I vowed to never forget my hat, gloves, and scarf again as I hurried to reach my destination and escape the unforgiving cold.
