Then Bezalel and Oholiab were given the task of building the Tabernacle. They were both skilled craftsmen, filled with the Spirit of God and with wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts. They were responsible for all the work of the Tabernacle, working with all the skilled craftsmen who were willing to help. Moses called upon the people to bring their offerings of materials for the Tabernacle, and they responded generously, bringing gold, silver, bronze, fabrics, skins, wood, and other materials. The people were so generous that Moses had to tell them to stop bringing offerings because they had more than enough to complete the work. The Tabernacle was a labor of love, with the entire community coming together to build a place where they could worship and meet with God.
