In Numbers 22:37-41, the story of Balaam and his talking donkey unfolds. As Balaam meets with King Balak, he reveals that he can only speak the words that God puts in his mouth, thwarting the king’s plans. This story serves as a reminder of God’s power and sovereignty, showing that even a donkey can be used by God to carry out His purposes. It also showcases the importance of humbly submitting to God’s will, even when it goes against our own desires.
