The once bustling town now lay deserted, the streets empty and the buildings abandoned. The silence was broken only by the sound of the wind whistling through the empty buildings, creating an almost ghostly atmosphere.
The few remaining structures that still stood were cracked and weathered, their paint peeling and windows shattered.
