Marilyn Monroe, born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926, was an American actress, model, and singer who became a major sex symbol in the 1950s. Monroe also faced challenges in her relationships, including three failed marriages to Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller, and James Dougherty.

Tragically, Monroe’s life was cut short when she died of a drug overdose on August 5, 1962, at the age of 36. Despite her untimely death, Monroe’s legacy continues to live on through her iconic films and timeless image as one of the most enduring symbols of beauty and glamour in Hollywood history.
