In Genesis 25:14-15 KJV, it is mentioned that the descendants of Abraham through Keturah are listed. The scripture describes the names of the sons born to Keturah after the death of Sarah. These sons included Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. Each of these sons also had their own children and tribes, which eventually expanded through generations.
These verses exemplify the fulfillment of God’s promise to Abraham to make him the father of many nations. Despite the obstacles and challenges faced by Abraham and his family, God remained faithful to His word. The genealogy detailed in these verses reflects the continuation of God’s covenant with Abraham. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of faith, obedience, and perseverance in the face of hardships.
Through the descendants of Abraham and Keturah, we see the faithfulness of God in building a great nation. The lineage of these sons carried on the legacy of Abraham, showing how God’s promises endure through generations.
